Session abstract
What you’ll learn
Most GenAI applications wrap agents behind layers of APIs, Lambda functions, and polling workflows—adding latency, complexity, and unnecessary infrastructure. But what if your UI could communicate directly and securely with your agent in real time? In this session, we explore how to use the native WebSocket runtime of Amazon Bedrock AgentCore to build secure, production-grade UI-to-agent communication without an intermediary API layer. You’ll learn how to establish direct browser-to-agent connections, stream responses in real time, implement secure authentication boundaries, and avoid common architectural pitfalls. Through a live demo and architectural deep dive, we’ll examine when skipping the middleman simplifies your system—and when it doesn’t. Attendees will leave with practical patterns, security considerations, and a new mental model for designing responsive GenAI applications on AWS.
