Alexander Crettenand is Vice President of Software Engineering at ADT, where he leads software engineering for the company's smart home security platform. In 2026 he became one of ADT's representatives on the Board of Directors of the Connectivity Standards Alliance — the organization behind Matter, Zigbee, and Aliro — sitting alongside representatives from Apple, Google, Amazon, and Samsung. Before ADT he spent roughly a decade at Google as a Senior Engineering Manager.
