Briana is an Engineering Team Lead at Citi, where she leads STAR Platform Reliability — driving automated testing strategy across distributed microservices, managing CI/CD pipelines, and mentoring an engineering team. A former Google engineer (Google Pay/Play), she brings deep Java/Spring Boot expertise alongside a full-stack and DevOps toolkit spanning Python, TypeScript, Kubernetes, Kafka, Docker, and BDD frameworks. She is passionate about building systems that scale — both in code and in people — and mentors emerging engineers through CodePath, and TX HerScript. Briana is a community ambassador for Karat BBM as well as TORC, and is the local Austin chapter head for FOSTR.
