David Kea, Jr., MBA, is a Technology Business Specialist from Detroit with a background that bridges enterprise operations, software engineering, and risk governance. His career has taken him from IT support and Java development to enterprise resiliency work supporting critical banking systems, giving him a unique perspective on how technology, business, and people work together at scale.
At PNC, David partners with Site Reliability Engineering teams to strengthen compliance, reduce risk, and support the reliability of enterprise applications. His earlier experience includes software engineering at TEKsystems, where he contributed to development, testing, and Agile delivery, as well as long-standing work in IT support and public-sector operations. Across every role, he has focused on solving real problems, improving systems, and making complex technology more practical and accessible.
David’s educational background includes an MBA, a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Management, and additional training in cybersecurity and IT. He is especially interested in modern software development, generative AI, and the evolving role of technology in helping organizations move faster while staying reliable and resilient.
