Experience behind the talk
I'm a Principal Platform Engineer focused on agentic AI, systems where models reason, plan, and take action rather than just respond. I started in front-end engineering and grew into full-system design across TypeScript, Python, and AWS, which means I've had to think about the whole stack, not just the interesting parts.
Most of my work right now lives at the intersection of reliability and autonomy: how do you build systems that can act independently without becoming unpredictable? I collaborate closely across engineering, product, and data to take ambiguous ideas to production, and I care a lot about doing that well, not just fast.
Outside of work, I'm a triathlete and a community band trombonist. I enjoy a good challenge in whatever form it takes.
